Transitional model on ebay?

This is floating about on Ebay at the moment so just thought i would post it for disscusion. I'm not liking the Eagle, as it seems to be on 2 layers of the helmets paint. Again as i'm a novice i thought i would get some more opinions.

Could be two good decals but hard to tell , it has a good chance. I think the original decals were made visible post war.

The condition is nothing to write home about, but the the shell, liner, paint are original, albeit with unusual wear. Decals are too far gone for someone with my experience to tell.

Worth a punt for a couple of hundred maybe. I'd want it in hand to be sure as well.

The decals look dugout to me.
Any helmet with decals on Ebay sale for 3 times the price.

They stand a chance as originals, but I agree that they look to have been liberated a touch.
It is hard to call one way or the other , but if cheap enough, may be worth a punt IMO.

I think you may just have found one of the rarest ebay items, ie:a GENUINE original helmet!!!This one is not in the best order but it looks all original to me and at that price it's worth a go.The decals as already said look to be good originals that have been "dug out",BUT AT THAT PRICE IT'S A BARGAIN!
