US Troop Carrier Grouping with German Bringbacks

This was acquired as part of a grouping to a US Troop Carrier; Tri-Color Camo M40.

I can't tell if there are signs of a decal, or not. There is what looks like a wing, but could be a brush stroke.

Sadly, the liner is completely dry rotted.

In any case, I thought everyone may appreciate a fresh out of the woodwork camo helmet.

Thanks, and all comments are welcomed!

Now That's a camo that I Like! No squabbling over This one! A shame the liner took such a knock, but it is what it is. Nice find!

    Thanks, all!

William, I do wish the liner was in better shape, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. This is my first camo helmet, and it makes a world of difference to have provenance to go with it. Thanks again!

A fine looking cammo, and even better with it's provenance and history, well done and thanks for showing it. Leon.

Great helmet will display very well, with or without a liner.

Dull and flat paint, that's what I like to see in a camo, I like it. Good pics too, no glare.
