unusual colour helmet???

this is one weird helmet there looks to white and black helmet under the green paint

Post war repainted, as Tom posted earlier, though I thought that was the case when you first showed this helmet when it was black and when it was green, but trying to give you a reasoned opinion. Often messed with helmets get repainted again and again and again.......

The white is primer and/or filler, IMO

in that case i would guess that under the white will be the original i would guess that this was a reactors helmet (white winter camo,green normandy/standard camo and then the ss camo)
