Unusual lid??

Article about: Can anyone tell me the origins of this helmet? i dont recall seeing one with this rivet system. Phill

    BGS = Bundes Grenzschutz = Border Guard = Post war West German police force that used M35 clones and variants. With rivets, and ventilators and without all that. Some are very similar to the WW2 M40.

    A Spanish connection is not impossible. Although a Northern European connection is more likely, because Spain used shoddy liners. Strange is the liner size. Size 53 was not used in Germany. Only used even sizes.

    Danish CD? Who knows?
