Value on de-nazified M/40 luftwaffe?

It's a nice helmet , with the swastika it would be a desireable LW helmet to have. It takes the price down by a lot. If you can get 600$ for it sell it. I estimate 500-600$ should be a decent price. Otherwise it would have been 800-850$.

Luftwaffe helmets are still relatively cheap to collect and there are lots of originals on the market for sale however look in the right places as they are also heavily faked , but a quick check on the forum takes away that problem.

Should you sell? Hell yes, but then comes the crunch. When anybody wants to buy an un-messed with helmet, and the price turns out to be 800-900 Euro. You have to ask yourself who put the price up to that amount?.

The answer is simple, the collector, because if someone is prepared to pay 500 for a de-nazified one, then an un-touched one has to be worth a lot more.................ans so the world goes around

Really nice helmet i think the price is ok, you will find it was denazified in germany as they are illegal to own with the swas ect on. most buckles come out that way as well, but the helmet is
in good condition so no probs there.

the bonehead dealer who lives near me has a complete Q64 single decal m40 luft. he wants 800 dollars for it. i told him that its not worth that, but the shell is a quist so its not worth a normal sd lw m40 but its still not worth $800. the guy didnt even know what Q stood for! he told me that Q64 was the original unit that it would have been sent to. i asked him to come up with a LW unit that began with a Q.
