Very Newbie Question on my M42

Hey guys
As I get more into the hobby I find myself asking some basic questions. Would appreciate the help on this one. Are the three rivets on an M42 helmet supposed to move? The ones on my helmet do when I wiggle them. Appreciate any advice. Thanks! Phil

Certainly rivets and washers will loosen up over time and usage, that is to be expected. Some photos of the helmet and closeups of the rivets and washers, liner would be great. If your split pins are full of bends that might be a problem, that being said a picture tells a thousand words.

Hi Phil, loose pins on a helmet are not a problem if they have not been messed with. As Doug says, over the course of time and hard use, they can loosen up. Leon.
