Vet bring back grouping attic find m35 camo?

Bought this grouping at a estate sale, didnt pay much for it ($250), which I thought was a steal, helmet is a ns62 m35 with what appears to be brush on camo, all was found in a box in a attic hence the poor condition of it, also appears to have been varnish along time ago by the vet and this sit in his attic for who knows how long but here's the in hand pics inside amd outside, decal appears to be covered or worn off maybe you guys can tell

I think you have done very well! Looks like nice thick "brushed on" cammo, a good looking helmet that is not in to bad condition really, plus you get a belt and bayonet to boot!! Leon.

If you got all that stuff for $250 you've done very well. What I like is this little stash is exactly what you do find with veteran souvenirs; a helmet, bayonet, belt and ammo pouch. The paint we can see on the helmet is old. We must assume the varnish is obviously post war, was other paint added at that time? We'll probably never know. But it could be wartime camo, and that's the interesting bit.
