Volkssturm helmet for review

The helmet in post #25 is entirely different than the one that started this thread. For clarification, there never was anything specific to helmets worn by the Volksturm. They were issued whatever was available in the area they were called up in.

I did not mean to cause any confusion. I was only saying a silver helmet can be real not saying the one I have/had was a period silver helmet. I did not know that there were any German silver helmets during WW2. Marty

Just for clarity. Do you mean the helmet that started the thread or the one in post 25?

I know I'm late to the game here everyone, but it think the first helmet is good. No expert reason other than my gut.
