I've noticed that Dave is pretty good about doing down on his prices. Considering his high quality pics, I would pay a lot for this helmet... but not THAT much.

Joe, you didn't miss it unless you had first right of refusal or didn't persue it. Sounds like the helmet never presented itself properly for you to aquire it. Like I said earlier, don't swett what could have been becuase it is an excercise in futiity (been there). Who knows for sure how it got to Dave and what he has invested in it, may even be a consignment piece. I would not even think about purchase it at the asking price at any rate. FWIF - I'm not even sure I like it all that much.
