What do you guys think about these decals?...

Hi everyone! Just bought a nice green Heer helmet and am curious whether or not you experts can tell whether or not these decals are authentic or replacements.

sorry mate, fake im afraid, look at where the decals are situated and also you can see where theyve been placed over the paint damage, lets see the whole lid and the liner, etc for a better opinion on the helmet itself, you might have a nice no decal helmet but we need pics

now that ive taken another look you can see where someones put the liner pin in when the paint was wet, hes left his fingerprint.

I thought that you were joking? Obvious fakes and I asume your just beginning to learn about German helmets, in that case it good and you posted them.

That could be a Spanish helmet, show a picture of the liner.

Hey guys. I honestly wasn't expecting a positive response to this post I had reasonable expectations that the decals are fake. In fact, I believe the helmet itself (and liner, minus the shoestring) to be authentic, but repainted. I paid accordingly so I didn't lose on the deal. Still a decent looking display helmet.

that liner looks norwegian. definately not original to the helmet. the shell looks good, its a more rare large size but it was definately repainted. nice shell though : )
