Article about: Yesterday I bought a black M40 German helmet from an antiques store. The owner said it was an SS helmet....money back guaranteed. It has a partial decal of the early SS rune on one side and

    Hi Pablo,

    A little documentation, and a little idea of the prices for a SS helmet today, should you make suspicious. Very very bad fake.

    If it was an original SS double decal it would be worth at least 10x's what you paid for, possibly 20x's or more.
