What type of helmet is it?

Article about: Gents, I bought this shell of a farmer a few years ago, he used to play with it as a child and later used it as flower pot. I'd like to sell it, to clear some funds for a 57er Deutsche Kreuz

    Gents,
    I bought this shell of a farmer a few years ago, he used to play with it as a child and later used it as flower pot.
    I'd like to sell it, to clear some funds for a 57er Deutsche Kreuz in Gold. I have no knowledge of German helmets and am currently struggling to find out if it's a M35, M40 or M42. I don't see the difference...

    I would like to put the type in the discription on the auction site, can anyone help me please?

    M35; foilded edge,airvent rivet seperated from the dome
    M40; foilded edge, airvent rivet struck in one time with/in the dome.
    M42; no foilded edge.
    Always looking for Belgian Congo stuff!
