White M16 Helmet thoughts?

Any idea what this helmet is all about, the paint work looks unusually different from the usual unless its a snow unit.

An original M16 German WW1 shell, size 66 or above. Post war liner and paint.

Yeah, looks like a Brodie style liner.

Looks like an Aust liner.

The pictures really arent good, but it might be there is still original paint under the white overpaint, if that was true it might be worth it, if the price is low enough.
