wired helmet relics opinion

Article about: Hi members last night i won an auction of a relic helmet and i would like to have your opinion about it! Should i clean it? i would like to clean it with acid but i wanted some opinions befo

    oh i almost forget do you think i should cleaning it with acid?
    at least cleaning the poop camo?

    I bought a relic helmet that had a period applied wire with a yellow plastic coating something that looks like it was used for electrical.

    I'm not a fan of cleaning anything more that a light wipe with a rag or sponge won't remove. It's a relic. Keep it dry and it will be fine.

    A bit off the current topic (the wire basket) but in looking at the shell, I was trying to find the entry of the bullet. It's interesting to see that the bullet entry almost went cleanly through the vent hole. What a shot!

    yeah the helmet's wearer had no chance to survive !
    when you see the hole at the exit ,his head surely blown away !
    even if he was hidden behind a camo
    i would be curious to know how this happened
