Worth of WW2 German Helmet

I thank everyone who offered their expertise on the value and historical signficance of this helmet.

I can vouch to the fact that it has never been varnished or cleaned up in any way. This is how it came home with my uncle from Europe. Since he never spoke of the war I can't honestly say if that's a huge area of dried blood on the liner. Since the helmet comes from the Battle of the Bulge, I would imagine it is.

If anyone is interested in adding this historical German helmet to their collection, please contact me. I would like to find a "home" to someone who can appreciate its value.

I think blood also. It is very easy to perform a test for it.
