The Troppenhelm is genuine. It appears to be a so called second pattern. The shields may be reproductions - others should chime in. The condition is a bit worn and it appears the chin strap and vent cover are missing. They are not rare so the buyer may wish to hold out for something better. Here is a photo for comparison. NH
Looks correct but terrible condition. The Nat. shield has the look of a pith navy shield...the thinness & shape of it. Probably attatched post war at some point
