Ok, I have been straining my eyes on this...looks like a faint stamp on the inside right of the helmet, just behind & a bit above the chinstrap loop of the liner - possible 3 letters/numbers or a combination of each...it's faint but it's there, just can't make it out.
Any suggestions on how to get a read without altering the helmet?

A wet cloth dabbed over the numbers might bring them out better. It could be at the rear of the skirt, I would expect to see something like this; ckl64

Ok, I'll give it a go tomorrow with fresh eyes- I'm hitting the hay now. Thanks for the tip and I'll post the results tomorrow.

No point IMO Doug would win hands down and Jim would be the same on that just my op.
Some new guys have some real nice ones but I have seen no detailed pics yet of them

I got to agree with Eric.
Doug and Jim Have some great helmets.
Doug would get the combat helmets
