So here is my offering!
My single HJ&K decal Heer M42, its an EF 66 lot 15358. Still not 100% sure of the strap but thought I would leave it on as it looks nice on display like this, hope you like it!

There are a lot of fine helmets on this thread! Here is my humble contribution and lucky find for the year: my first German helmet pickup in 7 years, and also my cheapest. Vet bring-back M42 with a cut chinstrap and casualty liner.

ive been reluctant to even post on this great thread after seeing the pure quality of whats been shown so far ,but what the heck in for a penny in for a pound here's my snow cammoed relic m40 purchased this year

No need to be reluctant. If this is your best helmet of the year, than we are happy to see it! Your "best helmet" doesn't have to be minty.

As its the last day of the year I better get in this thread showing my best of 2012 and indeed of my collection; my decaled SS-VT unit marked and named helmet. The top of the heap from my collection as far as I'm concerned with respect to the combination of rarity, condition, and historical value.
