your opinions on this Heer M42 helmet please

Picked up a cheap Heer M42 and would like your opinions on it. Hard to see the markings on it but must be larger size as it fits me, whereas a 57 size wont. Cant see manufacturers codes. It has a dome stamp and pins look untouched, and you can just make out a decal shape under the paint. Original owners name in pencil but also hard to make out. Thanks !!! Neil

Nice re-paint. Looks to be an ET68. You can be sure by looking at the liner band by the chinstrap bale where it faces the inside of shell. Just pull down & away GENTLY by holding the chin bale. Should be size marked
