It is the only known example in the world.
As there's no official text related to this bakelite buckle, impossible to say if it was a useless prototype or a Probe, ready for mass production. Beyond its rarity, i dare to say that eagle is one of the ugliest TR bird i have ever seen...looks like a pheasant...

Agreed, Aluminium is more expencive, the backelite is the same as the rubber, but contains more sulphur...
