Battle damaged dak/trop web belt?

Hi, I got this along with a salty dak tunic eagle and wondered what people thought about the damage. It looks to have had blood around the area of damage, though it could be something else.

Could well be Jerry, I suppose if he was shot the damage to the belt from the bullet and staining from the blood.quite a posibility!

Thanks Ben for your prompt opinion. It is one we might never know for certain, though I suppose there is a simple chemical test for human blood.
