Belt and buckle by JFS , need your help

Hi guys . I need opinion with this ones . I got this set 3 days ago from USA . Probably the buckle is painted now because the paint is washed away by modern vehicle very easily . What do you think , it is genuine or repros ? Thanks

The buckle does look to be repainted. The prong bar was probably brown in colour and the buckle was a dark blue/black late war issued piece. The belt is a legitimate piece....but it's not a combat belt and would not have been issued with this buckle. It looks like a civilian type belt - the kind used by the Hitler Youth.

I agree with Rob, nice original JFS buckle, have a close look at the paint, they did do green buckles, I know you see mostly blue late war ones by this maker with the brown pin shroud but like I said, they did do them in green so yours may be one of those with original paint
