Eagles heads on Wehrmacht buckles

Article about: Hi guys, in the previous thread I mentioned about buckles having distinct eagles heads, I just wanted to show a few and the variations that buckles do have, first up a classic Richard Sieper

    Yes please do, my e-mail is ben@evans739.wanadoo.co.uk and if you ever need any buckles to buy finding I have lots of dealers stored in my favorites on my PC, if you are on a budget then I can find you the best buckle for the money you have again if you want

    Ben - is this maker and eagle head shape considered a "rare" or "scarce" heer buckle? A fellow collector has one for sale with a 1940 tab and is asking $150.00.

    Joseph, Seiper was a very prolific maker of buckles and and are probably one of the most common makers. In ref to the buckle you have posted it is not rare buckle at all and price wise due to the condition is very high. If I was buying that buckle I would be looking at $60-80, $150 for that is a joke in my eyes and to be quite frank I would not buy it as there much better ones out there is better condition for less money, but again that is what I think

    Great buckles. I had to pass on one offered to me a few weeks ago. Seller wanted a tad too much.
