Early Schmöle & Comp Menden

I got this early alu Schmöle & Comp buckle, I have another one in my collection but without leather tab

I would say that is a nice and important buckle Ivan, the eagle very typical of the Menden makers. I would class this as a sort of transitional buckle moving between style of catches from the Imperial/Weimar era into the TR era of buckle making, very nice indeed
