    Looks great !! Have you taken it off the belt ? And, It looks like the maker mark is on the outer lip ( GB ) including the obvious tab.
    Also.. It appears to have almost all of its paint still remaining !!

    I didnt want to mess with it.

    Hello,

    You have super nice 1940 dated buckle with tons of paint and a great looking tab and a very nice late war belt. Sweet rig.

    I usually "Crack the nut" and take the buckle off the belt to display the great looking tab with the buckle..

    It looks fine to me.
    There should be a mark on the reverse of the buckle under the pin.

    Very very nice buckle and belt made by Gustav Brehmer Markneukirchen. Both in very good condition to boot! very nice find indeed
