Phil, could it be B Haarmann, Ludenscheid? Looks like it to me, or E F Weidmann but I think the Haarmann is more likely

Thanks Gent's for the clues.
I can't make out what is under the stitching, That is why I was hoping somebody was familiar with this stamp and would know. I'll break out that magnify glass and see what I can make out with the suggestions given.

I agree with Ben. The size of the Stars and the downward direction looks like the Haaramann In the sticky thread.
Phil - almost certain the Heer maker is Haarmann as others have shown. You can rub a bit of talc powder on tab letters and it could be earlier to read. Also, on a Wiedmann buckle the city would be Frankfurt - here is an example on a Police buckle
Question for all here: Did Wiedmann - Frankfurt produce Heer buckles? I have a Police and Luftwaffe but do not recall a Heer example.
