Hermann Knoller Heer Buckle

I would like to hear any opinions on this buckle. I believe it to be an original Herman Knoller Heer buckle. This was recently found in a local antique store along with this late war Overhoff SS buckle. SS Belt Buckle

Nice buckle and it looks like it still has some paint on the prong bar. That means it never had a tab.

Thanks for the additional information kirby. You are correct. There is still a decent amount of paint remaining.
