Which belt is it Joe? If that is the case the belt tongue or even belt could be post war, they were not the same size!

The belt that came with the zinc buckle is difficult to install on the kremps buckle but it fits on the Overhoff buckle. The Zinc buckle fits on the belt it came with and fits in the belt I had with the overoff. The kremps also fits on the belt I had with the overhoff (field repair belt) but it is tight also. So I guess the kremps tab is thick on the pin and is the difference.
