M4 Gott mit uns buckle authenticity

It's marked with B&N 42, but impossible to photograph because of the quality.
Its condition is not the best but is it legit or not?

Looks like a good Berg & Nolte made in 1942, although somewhat worn.

Nothing wrong with that buckle. just look at the first picture of the front, classic Berge & Nolte eagle
