    I just purchased this buckle today. It has no makers marks which scared me. I would love opinions on whether or not it is authentic. The paint looks to period and it doesn't have a pigeon head or a big beak. The head looks just right. Hope to hear a lot of opinions!

    It's a nice original buckle. I'm not sure of the maker, but it may be B. Haarmann.
