    Default Reichsheer buckle variant?

Hey gang...I'm usually pretty good with buckles and I know I've seen this one somewhere before. I picked this up today along with some choice buckles. I'm sure I've seen this type of buckle before.

Is this a Weimar buckle type variant? Construction certainly looks as it should. It's the same construction as my other Reichsheer buckles but the eagle is different. I'd love some feedback. Anyone have one like this post and discuss? I'm sure it's not a reproduction given the standard construction used but would love more info - and hopefully another example for the sake of reference. I just can't recall where I saw one like this before.
    Info would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks gang!
I'll also add a comparison shot with a reg. more commonly seen Weimar Army buckle....

Looks like a nice early variant to me Rob, it has however been bashed a bit

Thanks Ben. Glad you like it. Yes, the eagle's got a bit of a bashed in rib cage! Unfortunate but I'm happy to have another variant added to the mix!

Hi Rob, yes, it's certainly different. It looks like the eagle's neck it slanted back as well as several other differences, cheers, Richard.
