A few RODO buckles. A couple of late war blue/black, a rarely seen one with a unmarked tab and a couple of SS. I don't think I have seen any RODO buckles other than Heer and SS.

Hello kirby
beautiful buckles, thanks for showing! I don´t have a RODO, but they are on my wanted-list!
Gruß Max
Nice buckles Kirby, now a question to all, has anyone ever seen a Heer RODO with a RODO marked tab?
Ben
NEVER! It sounds that you have one!?!

I have never seen a mark tab on a RODO buckle. All the old books listed RODO as unknown. Now the thinking seem to be Robert C. Dold Oilenberg is RODO.
I've aways known it as Robert Dold Offenburg
Ben
Robert C. Dold, Offenburg!

Yup....I've also considered it to be that maker as well.....I too have a RODO Heer buckle (alas...no RODO SS yet!) but NO tab.....have never seen one with a tab! Here's a question: anyone ever seen a blue Heer with a tab by any maker? I would not think so given these are late war heer buckles and the tabs were discontinued by that time. That leads me to another question: did RODO ever make "green" steel or Alum. buckles? I wonder if they were a company that was "late getting into the game"????
Cheers lads!
Rob
