Just posting this on behalf of Wicke, he has found this old poster which I believe identifies the unknown maker C N in the key, the maker being Nottebohm & Co, Ludensheid, I for one am very excited as one of my passions is the discovery of unknown makers on buckles, many thanks Wicke outstanding job there my friend, very soon I will have yet another puzzle for you to look at when it arrives
