Unmarked buckle

Here is the strange unmarked steel buckle.
Looks repaired catch. The bar wire is alu maybe?
Any idea of maker (if it is a real time piece)?

The buckle is by Bruder Schneider with a replaced/Repaired catch

That was my first guess, but just looked over many makers.
My eyes still jumping in their sockets.

Yes,, yes clear.
I've compared the photographs in detail, just maybe confounded the catch.
