Ok, I should post this in a new thread, in Luft buckles but this one deserves to be included in this thread. Or maybe a new thread devoted to deformed sickly looking birds... It is me or is this a pathetic looking Luftwaffe eagle? I imagine it's what thei eagle looked like after the Battle of Britain... ;-)

I wondered if I was the only one that looks at gun broker.com They seem to be having lots more WWI and WWII things listed now a days. I would look at what they have listed than e-bay. Too many problems with all these fakes coming up on these sites. At least Gun Broker seems to have less fakes, I think.
    Just my Thoughts.

Ok, maybe it is a 1st pattern Luft eagle, maybe my eyes suck this morning. All I see is a sickly looking sort of a cross like a pelican and a swan that looks sort of wounded. Of course the obvious "battle damage" (shot down by a Spit over the cliffs of Dover) makes it seem all the more legit...

My apologies to the buckle if it is right, this is far from my level of expertise, it just doesn't impart Third Reich to me.
