Who made this Heer buckle?

Just a theory on the grey paint, if you look at DAK officer buckles they are painted a dark green colour, what about that grey painted officer buckles were field issue buckles and the non painted version were for parades? Just food for thought!

There is a post by another member wherein he posted a buckle the same as mine, only his is painted feldgrau. I saw in Angolia's book that feldgrau painted buckles were DAK. But his was painted on the front, too (I think) Mine is only painted on the back.
