Dear Z
My thoughts are that your DJ RZM 61 is "interesting" to say the least. Not one that I would wish to buy and add to the collection, however collecting is subjective of course and thank goodness for that.
All I am suggesting is essentially to rattle images of this interesting buckle to a DJ/HJ buckle specialist such as Chad Williams. I am sure that my initial thoughts on your buckle are irrationally wrong.
Regards,
David

Yes, David, thank you. It remains to wait for Chad!!!

If those are fake, then we're all in trouble!

I don't think it's fake. Despite the large time difference in their condition, they are very similar. They were made on the same equipment.
Can make photos of any parts.

I think it would be somewhat shocking if they turned out to be fake. The quality is exceptional and the wear seems completely realistic. If fakers can make fakes this good, then everything should be considered suspect.
Maybe David thinks that the buckles are real but the markings could be fake?

Erno, then the scammers have found two identical buckles to inflict on them the markings?!

I don't think so! I'm not sure that's what David is concerned about.
David, if you're available for comment, could you please elaborate on what you don't like about the buckles?

Friends, maybe someone can address this question to Mr. Chad Williams?
-
Dear Z
For clarity and understanding, please post two images and two images only of the DJ in question.
Obverse and reverse please.

David

I haven't seen Chad around here for a while. Is he still active?

David, Zeppelin has shown three buckles in this thread, one transitional Overhoff and two RZM 61. One is shown in the first post and one is shown later in the thread.
