Can anyone tell me a value on this?
Can anyone tell me abought the red in the buckle area?
Probably the original owners initials, Pam.
'B A' . . . . with paint added later ?
( I think I'm going to pack up and move down to your neighbourhood soon...............!)
Regards, Steve.
I have no idea why there would be red on this buckle.....added postwar I would think....real deal buckle though....if only it could talk and tell us.
Cheers!
Rob
thanks ,come on down!!
Original HJ as injection moulded aluminium and by Richard Sieper und Söhne, Lüdenscheid.
The red paint applied to the roundel is more than likely a post 1945 embellishment, as I think that even in the "last days", no HJ member would ever consider implementing a non regulation modification to such an important and special part of his uniform.

David
