I have this HJ belt buckle,I can read the round stamp RZM adan M on the reverse but there seems to be more letters ?

Yes it could be M4/30 :-)

Not CLEAN !!! It really is damaged enough.. Try to put a piece of paper over the marking and lightly run a stick of dark chalk or a bit of a soft lead (Pencil) over the image...
