Sorry gents but not one for me, a good copy but these showed up a few years ago, I would not touch them to be honest. there are been various conversations on several forums ref these. there is a good thread somewhere done buy Wim Saris, I will try and find it when time , tres busy at work at the moment

These 116 fakes showed up about 20 years ago. There are a lot of originals marked 119 but the construction is different. The first time I came across one of these I went through about 15 years of Manion's auction catalogs from the 80's and 90's. Not one 116 was ever listed and now they are all over the big shows. What color is the backing and the stripes on the Brocade.

M4/116 is a respected item among collectors.
i want to send it back.
Not get what I bought.
The silver coating is missing and the marker is M4/116, but I remember M4/119 (maybe wrongly)

116 is fake and all HJ Leaders buckles have the keeper with the prongs attached to the buckle. The same as SS officers buckles. The buckle shouldn’t be sewn to the brocade.
