Markus, I doubt very much most guys that read this thread would know of this maker. Could you do this thread as a teaching/learning thread for all to learn from? I think that would be the best way for all to learn about this rare HJ buckle

Hello All

i found this buckle some month ago and it give up many questions .

Because the side shape design .

I show it at WAF and it goes on a big discusion about maker .

First meaning was it is a Maybauer .

But more pics from a SS buckle and other HJ buckles with marker M 21 shows us a diferent design .

On more cames pics from a Giesse & Schmidt rhula marked HJ buckle with the same design like my unmarked .

The postsleeve are the same with the same cracks .

So in my eyes it is a unmarked Giesse & Schmidt Rhula .

Markus, could you maybe show the SS buckle and HJ buckle together for comparison?

the SS and the marked HJ buckle are not in my collektion . They was shown by JPR , Chad Williams .
