    Default HJ Buckle - M4/28

Recent addition - Paulmann & Crone. The catch looks like an earlier version, believe the materials is steel, or is it nickel?
    Cheers.

Thanks for the info Ben, as always. So, is it correct that the catch is an earlier type? That's what I determined from the Angolia book examples.

    Hello,

in this configuration it must be not an early nickel buckle .

    Chek the magnetic ?

Must be a nickel over steel buckle up to the year 1936 with this regular RZM M4 stamp .

Here the earlyer variation made of nickel silver with early stamp :

Love the one Marcus posted. That is a buckle that has everything as far as markings. This is the kind of stuff that makes collecting HJ fun.

I see a double marked Assmann and Overhoff on estand for $75. That is a good price for someone.

Recently picked up this nice but very, very short Kernleder belt, so likely it's an HJ belt. Tested it on a few different HJ buckles and it fits this Paulmann & Crone like it was made for it
