You might want to return this one. There is one like it in the fake sticky thread. I had a fake Stahlhelm buckle a few years ago with the same construction.

It is indeed an original and a very rare buckle. I mistook this for a fake until I was advised by Chad that these are real. There is another thread on these buckles which I will try and find

Sorry about the first reply. I did a search on WAF and found an old thread from Chad Williams on a buckle like yours. He says it's good but he mentions the no ears and the one piece prong bar. It reminded me of a fake buckle that was in a collection I purchased a few years ago.
