A first for me Markus but I think the buckle is original but the markings have me confused. I do like Wims theory but again who knows. A nice and interesting enigma buckle IMO

You could be suspended for many things. The RZM controllers looked for quality!
That's why so many buckle makers lost their permission throught the years.
We all know the M4-list, but no one ever listed those loosing their permission.
Over 30 it was! Only a few did get back their old number/permission. Just a few!
After the publishing of the RZM-handbook in 1935 already some did loose
their permission: 5, 8, 9 17, 21, 31, 50, which was Willy Thuy (fakes are known
from this concern).
