I hope to post my HJ belt and buckle collection over time. Here is one to start with...sorry the pictures are not great. Enjoy! The buckle has most of it's green finish btw. Unfortunately, looks grey in the photos.

The photo is terrible, it is not your phone. It is green. This is the only mold injected one I have. Over time I will share a few more. Thanks!

I have not come across a green hj buckle before. Did they produce green buckles for the HJ?

It is tough to say whether it is grey or olive green. This set came right from a vet and does not look like it was messed with.

I posted this one first because I have never seen one painted as well. I suppose this could have been done after issue by a HJ helper of some sort. Obviously, I do not know for certain. Has anyone else ever come across one like this?

often seen on corroded zinc a light gren grey patina come on .

Original it was in a light silver finish color ..........

Thanks for the clarification on the coloration of the buckle. I appreciate it. I was confident that it is original buckle just not sure about what we can say is a discoloration or patina. Thanks
