Pfadfinder or freak DJ?

As David has mentioned....These buckle were used by other orgs. I have one picture and information (at home) that shows the buckle in use by a group of ethnic Germans post-38 (actually the war years). So these buckles continued being used after the DJ was disbanded. Will see if I can find the pic and post it.
I think it's safe to say though that these brass box examples are earlier though rather than later.

May we be provided with some more basic information about the "NSBO labour belt buckles" ? NSBO Arbeitsdienst?? This is new to myself at least. The NSBO were I think active between 1928-1933 (I may be wrong) and I was blissfully unaware that there was an associated labour organisation to this organisation.

Yes David, the NSBO i.e. the Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorganisation (National Socialist Factory Cell Organisation), was a worker's organisation in Nazi Germany. Groups from large factories joined together in 1927/28 and formed an aternative to other labour unions and created the NSBO in 1928. In 1931, it was declared a factory cell organisation and they strengthened their numbers with campaigns such as the HIB (Hinein in die Betriebe/Into the factories). Membership totalled 300,000 by the end of 1931. In May 1933, following the anti-trade union decree, the NSBO remained as the only official worker's organisation in Germany. Very soon after, the DAF was established and later, the DAF absorbed the NSBO in 1935. A quick search of Google images should show some examples of the various buckles, with the silver on gold background that I mentioned earlier.

Perhaps you would be so kind and provide some images and perhaps via Google, of NSBO "labour" belt buckles which display the single Sig rune? All new to me I am afraid and this is from someone who collects NSBO buckles. We learn every day as they say.

Ahhh...now I see...

No David, maybe I didn't phrase my original post as clearly as I should have done. I have not seen a single sig rune NSBO buckle, I just mentioned that I had seen the silver used on gold before. Nothing to do with the design, just the colours used.

Many thanks for your informed comments, which are all much appreciated.

@ David: I knew I could count on you to show similar buckles! Both shown are quite wonderful by the way! The resemblance of the runes (your photomerge) is uncanny. Except that on my buckle, it is the top line of the rune that is slightly diagonal, whereas it is the bottom line on yours. Indeed I am aware of the various single rune designs used by Pfadfinder organisations, and I, too, would label my buckle Pfadfinder on gut feeling.

@ Rob: I think I have a print of the photo you mention. If we're thinking of the same picture, it is a press photograph showing a couple of "best agers" of the German Volkgruppe in Romania being instructed in small arms handling by a W-SS NCO. The Sig rune on these guys' buckles is wildly assymetric which leads me to believe these could also be old Pfadfinder stock.

From youth sales catalogues from about 1933 the color combination: silver rune, brass rectangular
was noted to be Deutscher Pfadfinder Bund. There were many combinations possible for the boy-scouts.

But it would not be uncommon when it also was worn by DJ in the earliest period, so 1933/1934. As far
as known the DJ buckle with its typical, well-known form of rune, was agreed in fall 1933.

researching on buckles (from 1984 through 2010) caused I got a great lot of lack of knowledge.
So now and then I will give a hand (look as what I noted on a thread on Stahlhelm-buckles and
