    This last buckle I have is odd. There is a very faint RZM in slightly raised lettering. It is difficult to see in the image, but there are scratches which almost onscure the mark. I don't know my metals very well, but it looks like a subtle bronze.

    Looks like a very nice and early Berg & Nolte. I think the marks is RZM 30.
    Their marks were often very faint. I have a cool DJ buckle to compare with:
    DJ M4/30 Berg & Nolte


    Here is a great buckle to compare with also, marked with RZM K.H 30
    HJ - KH 30 w/Belt

    Dont give up on this hobby dear Dixie, you have great buckles I would like to have the buckle you just posted!

    I recently acquired a buckle similar to yours... At least It looks like it in a general manner... Concerning the "Hook"
    I sold it to a fellow forum member.. RZM 17 Assman & Sohn... G
