Is this a real 4/38?

I saw a post about 4/38s being faked and wonder if this is one. The lettering looks more uniform than the example in the sticky thread on HJ/DJ Fakes? But I'm a noob. I have two others to ask about, but will post separately.

M4/38 is Richard Sieper & Sohn, Ludenscheid.. Aluminum construction and the "Ears" appear to a bit skewed..
I would dare say an original piece with lack of definition on the front due to loss of time, wear etc;
