    Hello All,

Just reviving this old thread with a new and very interesting comparison of my unknown HJ and this Luftwaffe I found. Although I don't have better images or the buckle in hand, I am feeling this could be the same maker. To my eyes, near identical ears, catch and prong ends. Anyone have an idea as to the maker of the Luft?

    Best,
    Adam

Adam, the Lufte is strange, it has the ears of a Overhoff and the catch of a late war Assmann, if I was a betting man I would have said Assmann, I will ask Rudi to have a look at it, all he collects if Lufte buckles he may have a good idea

Many thanks, Ben. Although I'm comfortable with the HJ remaining unknown and a fun mystery it hasn't halted the curiosity Any further discussion or input from anyone is most welcome.

    Best,
    Adam

If fact Adam, I would say the Lufte buckle is a late war Assmann one, I am at work at moment so will post examples later to show you

Chad, just from the make up of the HJ buckle could it be a late war Assmann made one?
