after hours and hours I was finally able to locate the source I have from the symbol, shown
with the buckle.
It is in an about 1933 (maybe 1932) price-list which notes Amtliche Abzeichen (official badges).
The badge, but horizontal, is referred to be a H.J.Broschen für Buben und Mädels, frei verkäuflich
für Jedermann
Translated as: HJ-brooches for boys and girls, for all available..
Nothing says students, scholars or whatever. I have not ever seen it included in any other price-list or
cataloque.
I would like to know where Angolia and confederates found out it was Studentenbund and made a
rough calculation (as was done with many other buckles).
Further I will show the full page from Steinhauer & Lück with lots nof buckles from the 1933-period,
along with a second page, again with many youth buckles. The pages are shown in the buckle-book
from Francis Catella. His pages are in a better condition, as the pages I own myself.
Left page upper row: the buckle is shown with the "brooch" vertical. Enjoy!
